One thing all would be property buyers wonder is, “How much can I borrow?”. This is of course, a very important question, one many people try to answer with the help on an online calculator.
Many lenders provide an online calculator on their websites. Other websites offer calculators that compare various lenders. These calculators all claim to be able to tell your borrowing capacity. With all this at your finger tips, you may wonder, why use a broker instead on an online calculator.
Broker vs an online calculator – what’s the difference?
For a start – an online calculator can’t answer all the questions you may have about getting a home loan. In addition, these calculators are unable to factor in most of your personal circumstances. Nor can they factor in many important lender rules and criteria.
This means that the figures given to you by an online calculator probably aren’t accurate. They also won’t tell you if you’re actually eligible for the home loan deal they’re advertising.
Comparison calculators may appear to offer you an array of choices. They may claim to tell you which bank is cheapest, or which will lend you the most. But they too can be wildly inaccurate. Not only may you not be eligible for some of the loans they show you, but the loan that’s presented as the biggests or the cheapest, may not actually be the best one for your circumstances.
On the other hand, it’s a broker’s job to factor in every client’s needs and circumstances, and their eligibility, when helping them find a home loan. At Bee Finance Savvy, we stay up to date on our 30+ lenders policies and offers, so that we can give our clients an accurate assessment of their borrowing capacity.
